UWS Awards Night 2015- LY Lawyers Prize for Criminal Law

Last night, on 9 July 2015, Lemar Miakhel, Criminal Defence Lawyer at LY Lawyers (and UWS Alumni), and Lee Maggs, our Law Clerk attended the Parramatta Campus of the University of Western Sydney to present the LY Lawyers Prize for Excellence in Criminal Law.

This year, the prize was awarded to Thanh Huyen Nguyen, for most outstanding student in Criminal Law.

It was a great night, with Lemar and Lee having the opportunity to speak to the most outstanding law students in UWS. The University of Western Sydney is fast becoming one of the top universities in Sydney, the School of Law particularly excelling in size and reputation.

Led by the Dean of Law, Professor Michael Adams, we have seen the School of Law at UWS continue to produce excellent students and lawyers upon admission.
